A former senior market head for a global professional services firm in its Los
Angeles office, Larka's expert ability to uncover an organization’s needs, combined with experience in identifying top-level executives that deliver results is a powerful combination that helps ensure client success.

After working nationally in commercial real estate and finance, Larka was retained by Chicago-based Ferguson Partners/FPL Advisory to open its retained search division on the West Coast and to recruit senior-level executives to commercial real estate firms, investment banks and privately-held companies. At Ferguson, Larka developed specialties in hiring for closely-held businesses, family wealth managers, and in expatriating executives to overseas assignments.

Moving to Kansas City in 2002 with her husband, Larka was inspired by her late father-in-law and his steadfast commitment to the charities he loved. Following in those footsteps with personal support for Children’s Mercy Hospital and the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, Larka made her own mark on local philanthropy as a co-founder of the Friends Board for Turning Point: The Center for Hope and Healing. Larka serves on the boards of Charlotte Street Foundation and the Carolyn Glasoe Bailey Foundation (Ojai, California), both of which support emerging artists. In addition, Larka is a key supporter of her husband’s efforts as the board chairman of BeHeadstrong.org, an organization that provides critical support to patients with brain tumors and their families.
